TEETH WHITENING

Whitening is a non-invasive procedure that lightens the color of your teeth. Whitening results vary depending on the tooth structure. On average, you can get 2-3 times brighter tones. It is recommended for patients of all ages with naturally healthy teeth. The results of a whitening treatment last for up to 2 years, depending on your eating habits.

Laminates are a more permanent, long-lasting alternative to whitening, with a permanent result with the freedom to choose any color you want. This alternative is recommended in cases where the patient has multiple composite restorations in the anterior region.

Will whitening negatively affect my teeth?

Professional whitening does not damage the internal structure of your teeth.

Is the whitening process painful?

The procedure is completely painless. However, slight sensitivity is quite normal for 24 hours after the procedure.

How long does the whitening treatment last?

Depending on your diet habits, it can be said to be 2 years. For an optimum result, we recommend good oral hygiene, regular 6-monthly check-ups and quitting unhealthy habits such as smoking and reducing strong staining foods (excessive coffee, red wine).

Can you whiten veneers, composite fillings or laminates?

No, this is not possible. Only natural teeth can be whitened. Therefore, patients with excessive fillings may be recommended laminate or ceramic veneers for color change depending on the number and size of the existing fillings. The change of discolored veneers can be evaluated.
